Volunteering with Art in Tanzania is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the local communities who benefit from your support.

To make your time in Tanzania as worthwhile, enjoyable and safe as possible, we have prepared programs for many different projects. See the side menu for more information.

Art in Tanzania offer voluntary work projects in a number of fields. These include; orphanages, schools, woman’s organisations, Sports coaching, IT training, special needs programs, care work and health and environmental projects. Your project can be tailored to your skills and experience.

You can also select a safari community work package, where your safari fees form part of your donation.

Don't worry if you come alone. We have volunteers from all over the world for you to share your experiences with.
