Kilimanjaro climb - Masai - Safari - Zanzibar (15 days)

Enjoy safari dates at Lake Manyara National Park and in the N'gorongoro crater. Spend an unforgettable night at a Masai village with a Masai bbq and dancing at the fire. The Kilimanjaro climb is up Machame route, 6 days. You can then take a flight to the Zanzibar spice Islands, take part in the historical stone town tour, spice farms tour and then you will get a chance to relax by the beautiful Indian Ocean Beach.

Day 1 | Arrival Flight - Arusha | -, -, d
Arrival flight to Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha. Accommodation and welcome dinner is at the Ahadi Lodge.

Day 2 | Arusha – Masai Land | b, l, d
You can leave your extra packages in our housing facilities at Arusha to avoid carrying them during the next days of safaris. You will then drive 250km to the N'gorongoro area. On the way you will have a light African lunch. Early afternoon you arrive at the Masai village that will be your home for the coming night. You will then enjoy a Masai bbq dinner at the fireside entertained by unforgettable Masai dancing. Accommodation is in the Masai boma (mud house) so you need to bring camping tools with you. As an extra you can stop on the way to Masai village at a snake park – Masai cultural museum (usd 10).

Day 3 | Arusha – Lake Manyara - Karatu | b, l, d
After breakfast you have all day drive at Lake Manyara National Park being famous for its tree-climbing lions. Late afternoon you drive to Karatu town and you will be accommodated at the Crater View hotel (20km from the Lake Manyara National Park). Accommodation is in Karatu town at the Crater View In hotel.

Day 4 | Karatu - N'gorongoro - Karatu | b, l, d
You can leave your extra packages in the hotel and start the N'gorongoro crater safari. At the crater you can see all the big five with a bit of luck. Accommodation is at the Crater view hotel. Safari lunch box.

Day 5 | Karatu - Arusha - Moshi | b, l, d
On day 5 you will drive pole pole (slowly) African way to Moshi town (320km) stopping at market places etc. Lunch is in Arusha town. At Moshi your accommodation will be at Kitolile Lodge.

Days 6 - 11 | Kilimanjaro Climb Machame route | b, l, d

Kilimanjaro climb (route details will be given to you separately). On day 11 accommodation will be at the Kitolile Lodge. All climbing tips are inclusive. If you will come down earlier thauring the afternoon you will move to the Northern tip of the Island to the Sunset Bungalows beach resort. Lunch and dinner not included today to give you freedom to move and select the place to eat at the beach area.

If you come down before the sixth climbing date the hotel accommodation and food costs are not included.

Day 12 | Moshi - Zanzibar | b, l, d

Flight to Zanzibar. You spend the day wandering around the historic stone town, Freddy Mercury Museum, Africa house etc. Accommodation at Safari Lodge.

Day 13 | Zanzibar | b, -, -
Spice tour and then we continue to the Northern tip of Zanzibar to Kendwa. We enjoy beach life at Sunset Bungalows Hotel.

Day 14 | Zanzibar| b, -, -
Free program at Sunset Bungalows Beach Resort. Lunch and dinner not included today to give you a freedom to move and to select the place to eat at the beach area.

Day 15 | Zanzibar - Home flight | b, l, d
Flight back home. You can also book extra days in Zanzibar.

Start dates:

• Every first and third Monday of the calendar month.
• If you are two or more participants you can select the start up date.

Cost:

• The package cost is Euro 2,300 per person.
• Accommodation at Zanzibar can be upgraded (we tailor them to you).
• Extra Zanzibar day Euro 100.
