Art in Tanzania works with schools and clubs to provide free sports coaching for young people throughout Tanzania. Football is very popular in Tanzania and many young people have a passion and skill for football and other sports, which cannot always be fulfilled. Our sports coaching programs are designed to draw out these young players’ potential, promote healthy living and give young people the confidence to work as a team. Art in Tanzania also operates a twice yearly football tournament for schools in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Arusha and Zanzibar. Both boys and girls teams attending. In addition to volunteers, we also require more funds for the tournament and are actively seeking donations from private companies and individuals. All donations of US$200 or more are refunded in the form of reduced safari rates for the donor.
