Why donate?

All of our projects try to be self sustainable, this means however that some of them take a very long time to be finished. On top of this it makes it impossible to invest in big infrastructural projects. We will make sure that your donation no matter the amount will be used to make a difference.

You have the possibility to donate directly to one of our projects. In the wiki pages you will find details of all of them, some even list necessities that can be met with your donation.

Alternative donations

If you are currently in Tanzania, or know someone coming here and would like to make an alterative donation please let us know. We would love to have more of these, sadly the import of goods can be problematic and the postal service in Tanzania is very unreliable.

A big thank you!

Thanks to donations from volunteers at a recent Art in Tanzania fundraiser for Mwandaliwa Orphanage, we were able to arrange an afternoon trip for all 65 children to attend Bahari Zoo. The children, accompanied by staff from Art in Tanzania, had a fantastic afternoon seeing animals for the first time and enjoyed playing on the slides & swings.

Many thanks to everybody who contributed to an afternoon the children will never forget.
